Admission

Admission to Community Care Training Services is reserved for applicants who have demonstrated the ability to meet the demands of post-secondary level instruction. The Admissions Committee also examines evidence of a student’s potential for achievement within our academic program.

Community Care Training Services seeks students who want to succeed in the world and who are not afraid to work hard to achieve their goals.

Process for Entering Students

During the admissions process, students’ credentials are reviewed individually and carefully by the Admissions Committee. The greatest emphasis is placed the completeness of the admission criteria below.

Perspective students are encouraged to call our office at 202-545-5040 to schedule an entrance examination. Perspective students may then complete the admission application online or in person. Community Care Training Services uses CASAS eTest as a marker for placement into our program. The placement test is assessed on a fifth-grade level and simply serves as a marker. Once you have achieved at least 75% on the entrance examination, completed an admissions application, and submitted the required documentation below, you will be contacted by an Admissions Representative with the status of your application.

Your application may be approved, denied, or deferred. Approved applicants will be given class start date options. Deferred applications will be given thirty days to submit missing documentation to bring their application to a complete status. Denied applicants will be given a reason for the denial and informed on the procedure to reapply.

Prospective students are considered for admission regardless of race, creed, religion, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, age, ancestry, disability, or natural origin. The following admission criteria must be met:
